NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Area Housing Authority of the County of Ventura (AHA) is soliciting public input on its Public Housing Authority (PHA) Plan, including the Annual Plan for FY2027 and Capital Fund Program 5-Year Plan in compliance with the federal Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998, for submittal to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Copies of the AHA’s PHA Plan and Capital Fund Program 5-Year Plan will be available for public review for a 45-day period starting on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the AHA’s central office, located at 1400 W. Hillcrest Drive, Newbury Park, CA 91320 and by clicking here. Written comments on this Plan may be submitted by mail to Michael Nigh, Executive Director, at the above address or by sending an email to info@ahacv.org with “PHA Plan” in the subject line.
At the conclusion of the 45-day review period, a Public Hearing will be held in the Board Room of the AHA’s central office at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, in order to receive comments from the public.

AVISO DE AUDIENCIA PÚBLICA
En cumplimiento con la ley federal de Calidad de Vivienda y Responsabilidad Laboral de 1998, el plan anual (PHA por sus siglas en inglés) para el año fiscal 2027 y el programa de capital fund quinquenal de la Autoridad de Vivienda del Area del Condado de Ventura (AHA por sus siglas en inglés), está solicitando comentarios del público consiguientemente presentarlos al Departamento de Vivienda y Desarrollo Urbano de los EE.UU. (HUD por sus siglas en inglés).
A partir del jueves, 5 de febrero de 2026, las fotocopias del plan anual y el programa de capital fund quinquenal, estarán disponibles al público por un plazo de 45 días en la oficina principal de AHA, ubicada en el 1400 W. Hillcrest Drive, Newbury Park, CA 91320 y haciendo clic aquí. Los comentarios escritos sobre este plan pueden enviarse por correo a Michael Nigh, Director Ejecutivo, a la dirección mencionada arriba o al correo electrónico a info@ahacv.org con “Plan PHA” en la línea del tema.
Al concluir el período de revisión de 45 días, se llevará a cabo una audiencia pública en la sala del consejo de la oficina principal de la AHA el miércoles, 25 de marzo de 2026 a las 3:00 de la tarde para recibir comentarios del público.
