The Area Housing Authority of the County of Ventura (AHACV) is an independent, non-profit agency serving the residents of Camarillo, Fillmore, Moorpark, Ojai, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, and the unincorporated areas of Ventura County.

Mountain View Apartments in Fillmore, California, will begin accepting applications July 13, 2021, @ 8 am from low-income households. This complex will feature 77 one-, two- and three-bedroom units. The apartments are currently under construction and scheduled for occupancy in Spring 2022.
The Housing Authority of the County of Ventura has been awarded 63 Emergency Housing Vouchers by HUD. Applicants for this program will be referred by the Ventura County Continuum of Care (COC), Coordinated Entry System. The AHA cannot accept applications directly from the public. Please see details.
The health and safety of our residents, program participants, staff, and community are a top priority, and the AHACV is monitoring the evolving situation surrounding the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Starting Wednesday, March 18, 2020, all AHACV offices will be closed to the public.
The home buying workshops are cancelled until further notice.
