The Area Housing Authority of the County of Ventura (AHACV) is an independent, non-profit agency serving the residents of Camarillo, Fillmore, Moorpark, Ojai, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, and the unincorporated areas of Ventura County.
At this time, the Area Housing Authority of the County of Ventura (AHA) does not anticipate any immediate negative impacts to clients or landlords from a possible temporary government shutdown. AHA funding is secure through December 2023.

63 Emergency Housing Vouchers Awarded by HUD
The Housing Authority of the County of Ventura has been awarded 63 Emergency Housing Vouchers by HUD. Applicants for this program will be referred by the Ventura County Continuum of Care (COC), Coordinated Entry System. The AHA cannot accept applications directly from the public. Please see details.
