The formerly vacant lot was sold to the Area Housing Authority in 2001. Funding for the project was provided through a combination of grants from the City of Thousand Oaks and Washington Mutual Bank, agency funds, a CALHFA HELP loan from the State and a conventional loan from First California Bank. The project was completed in 2003 for approximately $1.7 million.
Units are restricted to lower income households with income at 50% of median income. In addition, all units are available to Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher participants.
