Glenn Oaks Senior Housing complex is owned and managed by the Area Housing Authority. Originally built in 1990, the property was purchased in 1997 by the Area Housing Authority for $2.5 million. Funding was provided through a combination of agency funds and a promissory note carried by the sellers.

Glenn Oaks features 39 one-bedroom apartments, of which six units are handicapped accessible. In addition, there is a large community room which is popular with the residents for hosting meetings, potlucks, and other resident events.

Units are restricted to lower income senior households.
