Simi Valley Senior Rental Assistance

The Senior Rent Subsidy Program was created to provide temporary rental assistance to Simi Valley’s very low-income senior households, who are:

• Age 62 and older, and
  
  
• On the HUD Section 8 waiting list, and
  
  
• Anticipated to wait a considerable length of time before being assisted through Section 8.

The City's program was designed to assist in this interim period.

Under this program, eligible seniors receive a direct rental subsidy for up to 24 months.
